You’re an InspirationPosted by Kristi ~Little Paper Sprinkles on Jun 17, 2011 in Pink by Design Stamps | 7 comments
Hello Everyone! I love the way this background turned out! I have been hooked on glimmermist recently and LOVE creating with it. No 2 things are ever the same when using it! For this card I wanted to do a resist so the clouds would stand out. I dug out my UTEE which I have had forever and never used. For the UTEE/Glimmermist technique you will need UTEE, Glimmermist, embossing pad, heat gun and paper towels. To start ink up your stamp with embossing ink, stamp image, make sure all areas are covered, if not stamp again, yes this happened to me! …sprinkles with UTEE and heat. When it is still hot sprinkle again with UTEE and reheat. Let set for a few seconds, then spray with glimmermist, wipe with paper towel and all areas where UTEE was the glimmermist will come right off..What a great effect! The flower was made using 4 circles cut by hand, I cut them all jagged and curvy, then crinkle and form each piece and add a gem to center! The Sentiment stamp is from one of my FAVORITE sets from Pink By Design called “Enjoy the Journey” I love the font and the large lettering..great way to make a statement on your cards!
