Olive Madness

Hi Everyone! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations.  I am so excited to share this fun card.  I used an oldie but goodie Olive Juice Background stamp from Pink By Design and an oldie but goodie Cricut cartridge Doodlecharms.
For the background I used Olive Juice. I used Versamark and then heat embossed a Verdigris green powder.
Then I started to fill each “Olive” with Xmas Red Stickles.
Isn’t is awesome!?!?
Then I cut my images from my Cricut.  I made this file on my Gypsy using Doodlecharms. The free Gypsy file is available for download on my personal blog. I cut the Martini glass from Acetate. the straw/stick from Silver glitter paper and cardstock for the olive pieces.
Then I took an embossing ink re-inker and wet the acetate on the bottom of the glass.  I sprinkled Silver Tinsel Embossing Powder and Coarse Clear Embossing Powder.
I heated the powder gently.  When heating acetate, you must emboss slowly and evenly.  It is easy to over heat the acetate and melt it.
Using Tombo Vellum Adhesive I added the assembled glass to the card. I just love this card! So fun! I think these would make great cards for New Years or for a Party Invite.  If you want the free Gypsy file you can find it here on my personal blog 217 Creations.  Have a great day and stay crafting!
