Thinking Of You With a SketchPosted by crazyaboutcricut on Jul 5, 2011 in Cards, Pink by Design Stamps | 12 comments
Are you digging the PBD blog as much as I am?!? It’s like a one stop shop for blog surfing. You get tutorials, sketches, challenges, and a messagboard all in one place! Speaking of sketches, I have one for you today as my post. I’ve only used sketches a couple of times, so I hope you all like how my card turned out
First, here’s the sketch I used:
And here is the card I made:
*Pink By Design sentiment = Scripted Year set
*Martha Steward Score board = card base
*patterned paper = Theresa Collins
*border punches (circle and scalloped) = Fiskars
*black bling, ribbon and card base all from my stash
This is actually a Cricut-less card (gasp!). I used a shape cutting method from Creative Memories for the circles.
It’s a gatefold card that opens up and down instead of left to right. I used my Martha Stewart scoreboard for the measurements. Did you know that all the measurements are right inside the lid??
I hope you liked how my card turned out, and that you will be inspired to try a sketch and/or gatefold card! Make sure you come back tomorrow for some more amazing inspiration from the PBD Design team
