Beach Bride

Hey Everyone! Candace here from Scrappin' 2 Little Princesses! I am back from my family holiday and soooo ready to get back in my craft room!! This is the first thing I created since I got home, obviously I still have the hot weather on my mind… :)

My best friend is getting married in Mexico in February and I have been wanting to make her a wedding card. When I was on holidays I picked up some clear plastic "paper" and thought it would be neat to experiment with. One this card I wanted to add a sentiment but didn't want to add a tag that would overshadow the rest of the card. I used the clear plastic, along with a Perfect Medium ink pad (by Ranger) along with some PearlEx powder, to make my tag. All I did was cut the tag the size I wanted, inked my sentiment and stamped in on the plastic, then sprinkled PearlEx Powder over the plastic where the ink was wet. Then I gently pressed down on the powder to make sure it stuck to the ink well. I then took a soft paintbrush and wiped all the excess PearlEx powder off and added my tag to my card. There are soo many different ways to use this plastic with stamps and PearlEx (or any other super fine glitter), I can't wait to experiment some more.

The sentiment on the tag came from from the Sandy Toes set, and I also used the Cloudy Day background stamp in the background.

Hope you liked my card today!! See you again in two weeks! Have a great day! :)
