Grandma’s Cookies

Happy Saturday Pink By Design Friends!

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, today to share with you a card I made using the new "Grandparents" sentiment set.

My kids and I are on our spring break mini-vacation visiting the Grandparents, so this card is pretty fitting.  And I'll be leaving it behind for my Mom to share with her stamping friends.

Here is my card.

Details:

The apron is cut from the "Savory" Lite cartridge.  I sized it at 4 1/2 inches and flipped and welded the second image at the top to make the shaped card.  I hid the cuts on the apron and added a hand cut pocket for the cookies.

Patterned paper is from the DCWV "Flower Shower" Spring stack (from 2010).

Plain cardstock is from my Mom's stash.

The cookies are hand cut from the The Paper Studio's "Sugar and Spice" stack.

I used 2 different sentiments from the "Grandparents" set.  And I curved the stamps as I placed them on the block to mimic the curve on the apron.

Aren't Grandma's cookies the best?!  I think things made in Grandmas kitchen always taste better.

Have a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by!
