Welcome to the fourth Ink it Pink challenge. Are we having fun yet!?! I know I am! Speaking of fun, summertime is full of liesurely activities, but the high temps and humidity can make us hot and leave us parched. We'd like to know what you do to beat the heat. That's why this week's challenge is all about "keeping it cool." Let's see cards, layouts or any other projects that are all about cooling off in summer. You can create something with beaches, pools, ice cream, popsicles or cool refreshing beverages.
Don't forget , we are now in our second month which means you must use stamps from Pink by Design. We welcome all types of projects as long as they use Pink by Design stamps. We hope you continue to enjoy the Ink it Pink challenges. We love admiring all of your creative projects.
The card I made uses a sentiment from the Rain or Shine set. I created the rays, ocean and sky by masking and ink distressing. I tore some tan paper and used a colored pencil to give my "sand" some texture. The umbrella and flip flops are from Little Yellow Bicycle. Oh, and I hand drew the birds. It's one of the few things I can draw (besides stick people)! LOL!
