You’re Fabulous

Hi Everyone! It's Gloria from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. I hope your all doing well.

Today I would love to share with you a gift a made for a dear friends daughter. Thanks to my daughter wanting hair bows and Paula from More Than Favors teaching me how to make them, I am now up to my elbows in ribbon.smiley My friends daughter saw my daughter wearing one of the bows I had made and asked me if I would make her one. I did end up making her more than one and wanted a cute way to give them to her as well for her to have a place to keep them. So I decide to make her an altered frame bow holder. It's always nice to have the prefect PBD sentiment to go along with my projects.heart

I painted the back, the sides, and the inner of wood frame with a foam brush and Making Memories Spotlight paint.

Once the paint was dry I added Mod Podge to the front of the entire frame. Making sure to get of the edges.

I than turned my printed paper over and put the frame onto of it.

I than flipped the frame over with the paper and used my cricut scraper to take out any air bubbles.

I used my x acto knife to cute around the frame.

I sanded the edges with Tim Holtz sanding grip.

I painted the edges with the Making Memories Spotlight paint.

Once the base of the frame was done I used my cricut to cut the Hello Kitty image. She is cut at 4.36 width and 2.97 height. I inked her bow with Memento Rose Bud ink before gluing down the bow. The banner is from the "Everyday Banners" Pink By Design stamp set and the sentiment is from the "Enjoy The Journey" Pink By Design stamp set. I used an electric staple gun to add the two long black ribbons that are holding the bows and the top ribbon to hang the frame on the wall.
