Hello Everyone, it’s Scrapguy (Bryan) here! Thanks for coming by today–we are going to share a technique that is super simple and adds a lot to any card, gift, or layout. 3D Embellishments are so much fun and people are so impressed with the layers that you 3D Die Cut Embellishment will for sure be a hit.
To make one all you need is a multi layer die cut and some pop dots, foam squares, or foam tape–you could even use wobblers. If you were to buy a 3D die cut from a Lady named Anna G. at Joann’s–you are going to spend 4.99 or more–not only will you add a lot of fun to your project but save money in the process.
Here is my project using the Rain or Shine Stamp set. My die cut ended up being 1/2″ inch think once I used foam squares on each layer. I used the foam on each layer but you could even cut any one of the layers twice and just use it there-if you do that I would suggest you cut both the top and bottom pcs in the same paper/color which looks very professional.
Rebekah from “Crafty Teacher Mom” used the Simply Everything stamp set on this super cute gumball machine card. You can see she poped up a few of the gumballs!
Lisa from “Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon” made this awesome cupcake birthday card using the Birthday Birthday set. I love the way she poped off the paper the icing.
