Hi Everyone!!! This is Elizabeth from 217 Creations. Today I am sharing this tag for the Pink By Design March Sneak Release. The release will be next Friday March 15.
I stated with the new Prima Tag Pad. These tags are larger than typical tags from Ranger that I use. They also have a backing that is “coated”. The tags are firm and beautiful. Plus you cannot beat the value- 48 Tags for $7 (that’s what I paid at my LSS). These tags come lightly printed with scripting backgrounds and some inking on the edges. I decided to go a few steps more. I sprayed the tags with Glimmer Mist in Valentine’s Day and Bubblegum Pink. After the tag dried, I stamped with Close To My Heart Pigment Ink in Lagoon with the Pink By Design Damask background stamp. Then I inked the edges of the entire tag with Close To My Heart Dye Ink in Bamboo and Cocoa.
Next I built my circle element from Webster Pages papers and Spellbinder in Exquisite Circles and Standard Circles Small. All the edges have been inked and then stacked. I backed the element with a floral doily from the party store. I added a rhinestone from Prima to the front.
The bicycle cut is from Memory Box Dies and was cut from Tim Holtz Glassine Paper. I used spray adhesive to mount the bicycle to the tag.
The “Together” is a new stamp from the upcoming release from Pink By Design Stamps. It has been stamped onto the new DCWV Adhesive Cork Stack. This stack is amazing. I bought it in a 6 by 6. The cork is sturdy. I stamped using Colorbox Leather Pigment Ink from Clearsnap. After stamping I trimmed the edges. Since my cork was going to hang off the edge of the tag I peeled off the backing and mounted it a scrap piece of paper and then trimmed the backing flat against the cork (that way you can’t see it).
Last but not least was to make some bows and add some roses and a button. I had fun finishing this tag off. The crinkle ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam. The turquoise lace is from Webster’s Pages. The button is from MME. I love how the roses finish off the cluster.
I hope you liked my tag. This week are having a challenge here at Pink By Design Blog. You can enter any project into the challenge, as long as it has a Pink By Design Stamp. If you don’t own Pink By Design Stamps, you can get a freebie digi HERE to join in the fun! Have a great day and enjoy your weekend.
